What is your favorite dish to cook? With the recipes?

homemade soup - its such a comfort food (I actually made it for dinner last night!) Take some stock (chicken, beef, vegetable, fish) add some sort of meat if you're not a vegetarian. Then add noodles, potatoes, and any type of vegetable. Simmer til everything is cooked through. Eat and enjoy! Its even better with homemade bread to dip in the broth....

Its my favorite because you can add just about anything, never make the same thing twice, and it always tastes different. Plus its so good for a cold night or when you're sick (esp when you're sick and live alone- can't mess it up!)What is your favorite dish to cook? With the recipes?
I just made these Quiches:

And they were so good. Instead of sausage, I uses spinach, and instead of pastry puff dough, I just used some cresant rolls (the little premafe things from pilsburry in the cylindrical package), and instead of mini muffin trays i used a regular muffin tray, which made 8. I also substituted some seasonings, which you can do based on what you have in your kitchen, and to your taste, and it was just perfect. Such a comfort food, plus it's the cutest appetizer or snack when you're craving something carb-y.
