OH and also ANSWER THIS other one for me too! THANKS!
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>Do you know of any recipes involving Pork Chops, Rice, a baking dish and an oven ??
Does a microwave oven count ... LOL
PORK CHOP AND RICE BAKE (MICROWAVE)
1/2 c. long grain rice
1/2 c. water
Salt and pepper
4 (1 1/2 lbs.) pork chops
1 med. onion, sliced
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can golden mushroom soup
In 2-quart casserole arrange rice evenly over bottom. Cover with water, salt and pepper to taste. Arrange pork chops with meaty portions towards outside edges over rice. Salt and pepper. Arrange sliced onion rings evenly over chops. Spoon soup over top of this. Microwave at 50% covered, 45 minutes. If desired, add 2 more chops and an additional 15 minutes cooking time.
..... Though this is basically the same as the conventional oven recipe above .....
Can't answer the other question, I'm blocked from getting into it.Do you know of any recipes involving Pork Chops, Rice, a baking dish and an oven ??
Haha. Pork Chops with sprinkled rice on top, Put in a baking dish and put all that into an oven until it goes Kabaam!!
Season the chops with seasoned salt and freshly ground pepper.
Put a cup of raw rice in bottom of baking dish.
Arrange seasoned chops on top of rice in single layer.
Mix a can of cream of mushroom, cream of broccoli or cream of asparagus soup with a can of water.
Pour soup over chops.
Sprinkle liberally with paprika.
Bake at 350 degrees F until all the soup is absorbed and the chops are done (about 1 hour).
